Napoleonic Wars infantry, cavalry, artillery

The Napoleonic series looks back to the wars that reshaped Europe during the early nineteenth century under Napoleon Bonaparte. The line usually focuses on colorful infantry, cavalry, artillery, and command figures from the major armies of the period.

Collector identification guide

Record pose, command role and mounted subjects separately

An infantry line, a command group and a mounted figure call for different comparisons. Keep the release code attached to each pose when buying a loose group or planning a display.

Read the three release comparisons and source references

Standing and kneeling firing poses

NA003 is standing firing; NA004 is kneeling firing. A uniform match does not make the poses interchangeable. Count each release separately in a mixed lot, then inspect the weapons from the side to check their full profile and any visible repair.

Flag officer and mounted officer

NA009’s flag and NA010’s mounted subject are central to their identities. Check a flag’s staff and attachment points and establish the supplied horse-and-rider arrangement. A one-item catalog count is not a statement about detachable physical parts.

A unit label needs evidence

A short title saying “British” does not establish a regiment, a particular flag pattern or a specific battle. Use release photographs and documentation for those distinctions. Adjacent catalog numbers also do not guarantee matching base dimensions for a close formation.
