By using OTB Deals Companion (the "Service"), you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Search Queries: When you search for King & Country product codes or browse eBay listings through our Service, we may temporarily process your search terms to provide results.
• Saved Listings: When you save eBay listings using our favorites feature, we store the listing information (such as product codes, prices, and eBay listing IDs) in our database. Saved listings may be associated with your signed-in account so you can access them across devices.
• Feedback and Reports: If you provide feedback, feature requests, or bug reports through our Service, we collect and store this information to improve our Service. This may include the content of your message and technical details about the issue reported.
• Watchlist Email Alerts: If you opt into email alerts for watched items, we collect your email address and alert preferences so we can send matching listing notifications.

Automatically Collected Information

• First-Party Usage Data: We collect page paths (without query strings), session starts, active time, scroll-depth percentage, searches and result counts, eBay listing clicks, saved-listing actions, watchlist actions, alert activation, sign-in or registration completion, feedback category, and anonymous client-error categories.
• Acquisition Data: We collect only the referring domain and standard UTM campaign fields. We do not store a referring page's full URL.
• Coarse Technical Data: We collect browser family, operating-system family, device category, viewport-size bucket, language, timezone, country code, application version, and Core Web Vitals. We do not store raw IP addresses, exact location, or full user-agent strings in our analytics database.
• Anonymous Identifiers: A random browser identifier and a random 30-minute session identifier help us calculate unique visitors and sessions. If you sign in, analytics events may also be linked to your internal account ID, but we do not copy your name or email address into analytics events.

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require names or email addresses to use the core Service. If you register, sign in, opt into watchlist alerts or include an address in feedback, we process your email address for that feature. Registration also collects a name; Google sign-in may provide your profile name and image. Email/password accounts store a password hash, not a plaintext password.
• We do not store raw IP addresses, exact location, names, email addresses, message contents, or full user-agent strings in analytics events.
• Our first-party analytics do not use browser fingerprinting, session replay, keystroke capture, or cross-site advertising identifiers. Google advertising has separate data practices described below.
• We do not collect payment information (our Service is free to use)
• We do not track your eBay purchases or bidding activity
• We do not create user profiles for marketing purposes

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service
• To process your product searches and display relevant eBay listings
• To save and retrieve your favorited listings across sessions and devices
• To calculate cost-per-model and provide pricing insights
• To improve and optimize our Service based on usage patterns and user feedback
• To monitor and analyze trends and usage of our Service
• To measure acquisition sources, product funnels, engagement, reliability, and Core Web Vitals
• To respond to and address feedback, feature requests, and bug reports
• To send watchlist email alerts when you explicitly opt in
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues

We do not send marketing emails using your account or watchlist details. Google and eBay process information for the analytics, advertising and affiliate services described below under their own policies.

Data Storage and Security

The security of your data is important to us. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Saved Listings: When you save eBay listings through our Service, we store this information in our database to allow you to access your saved listings across different sessions and devices. This includes listing details (product codes, prices and eBay listing IDs) and the account or browser identifiers needed to associate the saved items with you. Account-linked saved data is not anonymous.

Feedback and Reports: User feedback, feature requests, and bug reports are stored securely in our database to help us improve the Service. This information is used solely for product development and support purposes.

Data Retention: Detailed first-party analytics events automatically expire after 90 days. Anonymous daily totals that contain no visitor, session, or account identifiers may be retained longer for historical trend reporting. We retain saved listings and other service data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your saved listings or account-linked data at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your information:

• Access: You can access your saved listings at any time through the Service interface.
• Delete: You can delete individual saved listings through the Service interface, or request deletion of all your saved data by contacting us.
• Data Portability: You can request a copy of your saved listings data by contacting us.
• Analytics Opt-Out: You can disable both built-in analytics and Google Analytics using the control on this page. We also honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals.
• Advertising Choices: If advertising is enabled, you can use the relevant advertising provider's settings or browser controls to manage personalized advertising.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to remove such information.
