Distinguish mounted command, flags and marching musicians
The early FW command subjects are separately coded roles. A seller’s assembled column may be a useful display, but it does not establish that every figure was originally sold as one group.
Read the three release comparisons and source references
Mounted major and flag-bearing officer
The release descriptions associate these subjects with the 13th Bavarian Rifles: FW005 is a saluting mounted major and FW007 carries a battle flag. Preserve the distinction between those release descriptions and a claim that a sculpt portrays a named historical person.
Musician versus standard bearer
FW008’s marching musician and FW007’s flag-bearing officer need different identification checks. Ask for views of the instrument or flag and its attachment points. A generic description such as “German marching officer” may not distinguish the two.
A prefix does not establish every display detail
Use the particular release’s uniform, equipment and documented subject before assigning a date or location. The FW range covers more than a single scene. For a mixed group, record individual releases and condition rather than treating visual proximity in a photograph as evidence of a boxed set.
