Set profile
What the LW026 catalog records
Use the manufacturer King & Country together with model number LW026, not only the figure description, to distinguish this release from similarly named Luftwaffe sets. The catalog records 1 piece for “Searchlight.” Check whether that number represents individual figures or a packaged release before assessing completeness.
Collector research
Identifying LW026
Identify the portable searchlight and operator
The dealer description identifies a seated Luftwaffe airman operating a portable searchlight. Check that the offered example matches the equipment and operator shown in the reference, rather than treating any searchlight accessory as this release.
Ask about operation separately
The word searchlight identifies the modeled subject; the description reviewed here does not establish working illumination. If electrical operation matters to you, ask the seller for a demonstration and an explicit statement about any modifications.
Because this catalog entry is retired, availability may be intermittent and asking prices can vary substantially between sellers. When comparing LW026 Searchlight listings, compare the photographed contents with the source record, then compare paint condition, repairs, original packaging, and delivered price.
