Greek hoplites, Spartans, and ancient warriors
Ancient Greece draws from the city-states and military traditions of the Greek world. The line often features hoplites, Spartans, and other classical-era warriors associated with the wars of ancient Greece.
Collector identification guide
Identify King & Country Ancient Greece figures by weapon, pose and exact model code. The range includes different subjects, including Persian figures. Source descriptions can also conflict: read the new AG030 note before relying on a copied weapon description.
King & Country AG016 identifies the Army of Darius officer; AG017 identifies the Persian standard bearer. The latter’s banner is a key identification detail. First Legion also uses AG016 and AG017 for different subjects, so a matching number in a dealer search does not establish a matching release.
AG019 is the ready archer and AG020 is the firing archer. Preserve that distinction in a group inventory. Inspect the actual bow and projecting details in side-view photographs, and compare the pose against the correct reference before assigning a loose figure to either code.
These adjacent releases have different weapons or actions. AG034 charges with a spear, AG035 advances with sword and shield, and AG036 throws a spear. A shared hoplite theme is not enough to identify one. Record the supplied weapon and its condition rather than inferring completeness from a similar shield.

These are identification comparisons, not hands-on condition reports. Open each record for its source and verify the actual specimen before purchase.

Every card includes the manufacturer, set code, title, recorded retirement status, catalog count, and type. That makes the page useful as a quick identification guide when matching eBay listings, checking old dealer references, or comparing similar sets from the same series.
Collectors usually start here to verify whether a listing belongs to the Ancient Greece line, check the recorded contents, and distinguish catalog status from current availability before moving into live price and listing research.
